Whether we’re planning your next Wedding, Corporate Event, Private Party, or Fundraising, or Gala, or Political/Campaign Event, etc. We are here to make sure that each event we’re involved with is inspiring, extraordinary, and unforgettable.

About Angela Carter

Angela Carter is the CEO & founder of Designer Weddings and Events. Angela was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. In her spared time she loves spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and arts & craft.

Angela has always had a passion as event designer for weddings & events planning, since a very early age! Her first event was when she was 21 years old. When she planned and executed her entire wedding. She decided to combine her creativity and organizational skills with love for special events and having to develop a personal relationship with each client as a business owner.

Angela has twenty plus years of experience planning various types of events and brings her eye for design and sense of style to each event. She has planned, designed and executed weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, holiday parties, large or small galas, family gatherings, business seminars, non-profit fund raisers, fashion shows, baby showers, sweet 16, networking events, and much more!

Over the years she grew to love planning weddings and specializes in “Day-of-Wedding Event, Design, & Coordination”.

Angela is a believer in giving back to her community and has belonged to many nonprofit organizations through the years. Currently she is involved with The Brandon Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit organizations.

Angela is currently certified with the City of Tampa, State of Florida, Minority/Woman Business, and Small Business Registration.
